More Thanksgiving Volunteer Opportunities in Orlando

The season to give is finally here! It is always great to see so much magic happen in the November and December months. It makes the whole years work totally worth it! Our Thanksgiving Breakfast is totally full with Volunteers! No worries! We have two more great Thanksgiving Volunteer Opportunities for you in Orlando. Here is how you can make a difference in Orlando this weekend:

WEDNESDAY - Meals for Kids
Where: New Image Youth Center
Time: 1pm-2pm
Location: 212 S. Parramore Ave. Orlando, FL 32805

What: We will be making lunch and serving snacks to the kids for a Thanksgiving meal to take home.
What to Bring (for 35 kids):
Foam Plates
Cups
Drinks (juice packs – capri suns, etc.)
Snacks
Zip Lock Bags
Napkins
Any individually wrapped snacks (Little Debbie’s, etc)
Dr. Seuss Reading Books
Why: Many of the children being served, may only eat on Thanksgiving Day. However, the need goes much beyond that. With four days out of school, some of the less fortunate children may not eat three of the four days of Thanksgiving. These snacks, and meals we are serving will hopefully stretch a little longer than just one day.

SATURDAY – Storage Clean-up & Food/Clothes Sorting
Where: Rock for Hunger Storage
Time: 10am-12pm
Location: 200 W Michigan St Orlando, FL 32806 (at Michigan Mini Storage)
