Featured Artist of the Week: Thanksgiving Edition

I know this post is a few days late, but can you blame a human for being caught up with the holiday this week. I am currently posting this from my former home of Coral Springs, Florida after having spent a tremendous holiday with loved ones. How was your Thanksgiving? Please leave your comments.

So, after realizing that I needed to post something this week, I drew a blank as to who to cover. For the first time ever, I did not know what to ramble about in this column. Do I write about a band that played a show on Halloween? A band that volunteered to help out this year on Thanksgiving? Nothing? The holiday, in general?

After much internal debate, I decided to write about G-Ro. I do this because he is someone that has truly stepped up his game toward becoming a musician, Board Member, and overall community spokesperson for hunger and homelessness. His devotion to the cause was prevalent on Thanksgiving, as he led the planning for the 2nd Annual Rock for Hunger Thanksgiving Breakfast and posted this motivating video seen below.
