Featured Artist of the Week: Kiros

It is quite the inspirational success story. Four young Canadians form a rock band and set out to make it big in the industry. After a great deal of hard work and endless amounts of touring, the group is finally paid off by playing with major acts like All-American Rejects, Allister, and Relient K, just to name a few. Have these accomplishments been enough? While the obvious answer for any ambitious band would be a simple "no," Kiros will be the first to tell you how humbled they are by their successes. The biggest and most impressive surprise - how devoted to the less fortunate they have been along the way.
After a brief stint through Florida a few months back, a few members of Kiros took the time to stop by and lend a helping hand at a Rock for Hunger weekly feeding. Did they have to do this? - Of course, not. Do they truly care about the cause? - No doubt about it.
These days, it's difficult to find very good bands that still put forth their time and effort to communities and deserving individuals around the nation. With all of the stress and struggles that touring the continent can bring, it is jaw-dropping to learn of Kiros' ongoing concern.
It goes without stating that Kiros also happens to write killer tunes, in the same vane of those trendy pop-punk groups that make the teeny-boppers swoon. Kiros has what it takes, and their songs prove it. Songs like "Of Wolves and Angels" and "City Lights" exemplify their talent the best. All four members, although young, hone their skills behind their respective instruments, and execute with the utmost precision.
