the Week in Rock for Hunger (4/21/2008)

Thank you everyone who came out last Thursday to the Rock for Hunger Spring Concert! We appreciate all the support. Thank you to Chris Burns, The Fling, Sugarfreemusic, Union Made, Big Will, Adequate Magic, Phoenix, all the Artists that came out, Ten Thousand Villages, Diatonic Productions, UCF Pre-Med AMSA, Rock for Hunger Volunteers & Staff, Back Booth, and everyone else who was part of this great event! MONDAY – Food Preparation for the Homeless Food Sharing (Orlando, FL)
This week Angela will be preparing the meals in her kitchen from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. To help, and more info please contact her asap at angelagriner@gmail.com.

MONDAY – Food Sharing for the Homeless (Orlando, FL)
Come serve a meal and lend a ear to the homeless in Downtown Orlando. We meet on the corner of Magnolia and Washington every Monday at 6:45pm, and the event lasts until 8pm. For more info on this event e-mail us at: info@rockforhunger.org.

FRIDAY – Tutors & Meals (Orlando, FL)
Our days at the Jackson Center for this semester are almost over. We need all the help and support we can get. Please help us tutor low income children in math and reading from 3:30pm to 5pm. For more info on this event contact us at info@rockforhunger.org.

FRIDAY through SUNDAY – Leesburg Bikefest 2008 (Leesburg, FL)
We really need a lot of help for this one!!! Help us work out booth at the Leesburg Bikefest on Friday from 8am-11pm, Saturday 8am-11pm, and Sunday 8am-5pm. Contact us to sign-up for a four hour shift to sell Rock for Hunger shirts, and spread Rock for Hunger all over the Leesburg Bikefest.
