Featured Artist of the Week: Chris Burns
>> Wednesday, April 23, 2008
Only someone special could be worthy enough to be honored with a second installment of Rock for Hunger's "Featured Artist of the Week." After a breathtaking performance at last week's "Spring Concert," an artist by the name of Chris Burns has earned himself this prestigious deference. No other artist, to date, has been graced with such a privilege. The following "Featured Artist," although it may be redundant to some, exists merely to admire and bask in Chris Burns' brilliant songwriting and catchy hooks....once again.

Aside from being a great performer, it was truly wonderful to see how genuine and caring Chris actually is in person. With his assistance and overall benevolence throughout the night, Rock for Hunger's "Spring Concert" was made into a major success.
To appropriately celebrate both the concert and Mr. Burns' musical talent, I have quite a treat for everyone. Below, you will find the live footage of Chris Burns playing his Rock for Hunger inspired song "What's it Going to Take?" with the Fling from last week's show. What an unbelievable moment in R4H history it truly was.

Finally, myself and everyone at Rock for Hunger would like to congratulate Chris Burns on being selected to showcase at this year's Florida Music Festival. You will be able to catch his performance Friday, May 16th at Central Station Rock Bar at 7:00pm. Before that, however, you will be able to see him perform at the very same venue on Saturday, April 26th with Red is Recovery and Dirty Skirty.
Upcoming Schedule:
26 Apr 2008 9:00pm Central Station Orlando, FL
16 May 2008 7:00pm Florida Music Festival (Central Station) Orlando, FL
