Featured Artist of the Week: Sugarfreemusic

>> Wednesday, March 12, 2008

These days, it's hard to find real soul in music. Sugarfreemusic, one of Orlando's music scene's staples, offers true rock music alongside healthy doses of passion and emotion. Having played Rock for Hunger events in the past, it is apparent that these four musicians not only care about their community, but also care about changing the world. Over the years, Sugarfreemusic's tunes have become anthems to many Rock for Hunger social events.

Songs like "Dirty" and "Brand New Day" are impeccable representations of their unique and entertaining style. Rock and roll music has never sounded so pure and clean, thanks to impressive lead vocals and powerful backing instrumentation. There is no question that these guys can play. Anybody can stream these tunes by visiting their MySpace page.

With the announcement last week, Rock for Hunger is proud to proclaim Sugarfreemusic's involvement with Rock for Hunger's spring concert on April 17th at BackBooth. SFM will be sharing the stage with a talented lineup consisting of Chris Burns, Union Made, and the Fling. Check out Backbooth.com or email concerts@rockforhunger.org for more information on the event. Do not miss out on catching Sugarfreemusic entertain a crowd of hundreds. Their live show is truly something that must be seen to be believed.

Before the R4H show, however, you can catch SFM with Union Made, Mansions of Thought, and One Night Stan at the Haven on Saturday, March 15th.

Upcoming Schedule:

March 15 10:00 pm The Haven Winter Park, FL
April 17th 10:00 pm BackBooth Orlando, FL
