The Week in Rock for Hunger (2/18/2007)

This weekend Rock for Hunger moved into an office in Downtown Orlando with our friends Endagon Entertainment and Rollett Marketing. Which explains some of the missing blogs for the past few days. We’ll be back strong this week with lots of great stuff! As well, Rock for Hunger as always has a bunch of events going on this week as well. So here we go:

MONDAY – Food for the Homeless (Orlando, FL)
As always we are going to be sharing food with the homeless and giving our love, and time with our friends. We meet at 6:45pm and get done around 8pm. Meeting point is on the corner of Magnolia and Washington in Downtown Orlando. E-mail us at: volunteer@rockforhunger.org to learn more.

WEDNESDAY – Social Ghost at the Social (Orlando, FL)
Our friends Social Ghost will be performing at the Social on Wednesday night. The Social is located at 54 N. Orange Ave Orlando, FL 32801. Show starts at 8pm.

FRIDAY – Tutors & Meals (Orlando, FL)
We need your support to help tutor less fortunate children in the Parramore area of Downtown Orlando. We have found some kids that need a lot of help with their literacy and math skills. We need your support. We meet every Friday from 3:30pm to 5pm. More info e-mail: volunteer@rockforhunger.org.

SATURDAY – BackRive at Back Booth (Orlando, FL)
Our friends BackRive has a huge show at Back Booth with Traverser, Munk Tung, and unSAID. Show starts at 7:30pm. Don’t miss this one. Back Booth is located at 37 W. Pine St. Orlando, FL 32801.

SUNDAY – Astronautalis + Mad Illz at Back Booth w/ Bleubird (Orlando, FL)
Rock for Hunger performer Astronautalis will be back in Orlando to perform at Back Booth with Bleubird, and another Rock for Hunger vet Mad Illz. This show starts at 10pm.
