Fun & Random Friday

Must do events for the next 7 days! Tomorrow on Saturday February 9th we got a lot going on. We have the Rock for Hunger interest session at my house with food, drinks, music, and fun from 7pm to 9pm. Invites have been sent, however if anyone would like to come e-mail me at cgoyzueta@rockforhunger.org. Afterwards, we have the after party at AKA Lounge with our great friends from Sugarfreemusic, and Rock for Hunger Board Member G-Ro from Rollett Marketing. This show will be at 10pm at the AKA Lounge on 68 E. Pine St. Orlando, FL 32801.

Sunday is the 2008 African Cup of Nations finals with Cameroon vs. Egypt. Egypt destroyed my team Ivory Coast 4:1 in the Semifinals. They beat Cameroon in the opening round 4:2. Let see if Cameroon and their caption & leading scorer of the 2008 African Cup, Samuel Etoo can pull off a victory for the championship. Egypt has already won five African Nations Cups, and Cameroon has won four. The last time these two titans of the African game squared off in the final match was back in 1986 when Egypt beat Cameroon in a penalty kick shootout. Then on Wednesday we have a must go to event at the University of Central Florida for their iRock event at the Memory Mall on campus. This event is free to all, and it is UCF’s Rock the Vote event. Rock for Hunger 2007 Artist of the Year winner, and this weeks Featured Artist of the Week KG & the Band will be there to rock the UCF stage. Go see why KG from KG & the Band is the one who wears to coolest hats in town. This show is an absolute must see event! So, see you there.
