The Week in Rock for Hunger (1/28-2/3)

I hope everyone had a great weekend! It is time to kick off a NEW WEKK!!! Make the commitment of giving this week with our great programs here at Rock for Hunger. Make a commitment to join on of our committees. Our committees are:

- Food for the Homeless Program committee
- Tutors & Meals Program committee
- Job Training/End Homelessness Program committee
- Special Events & Fundraising committee

Here are our events for the week:

MONDAY – Rock for Hunger Presentation at UCF (Orlando, FL)
We will be talking to the Student Leadership class at the University of Central Florida, and provide them with opportunities on how to get involved in their community, and how to start a career of giving. The presentations are from 1:30pm to 3pm at Business Admin building in Room 126

MONDAY – Food for the Homeless (Orlando, FL)
Our weekly feeding in downtown from 6:45pm to 8pm. As always we meet in the parking lot on the corner of Magnolia Ave and Washington in Downtown Orlando. E-mail Chris for more info: cgoyzueta@rockforhunger.org

THURSDAY – Sugarfreemusic @ AKA Lounge (Orlando, FL)
Check out Rock for Hunger artist Sugarfreemusic at AKA Lounge in Downtown Orlando at 68 E. Pine St. Orlando, FL 32801. Show starts at 10pm

FRIDAY – Tutors & Meals (Orlando, FL)
Help make a difference by helping less fortunate children develop their math and reading skills. This takes place from 3:30pm to 5pm at the John H. Jackson Center. E-mail Chris for more info: cgoyzueta@rockforhunger.org.

SATURDAY – Copeland + Lona + Over the Rhine @ BackBooth (Orlando, FL)
Rock for Hunger artist, Board Member, and Child Education Director Angela is taking the stage with her band Lona, and two amazing bands Copeland and Over the Rhine at the Rock for Hunger fest 2 venue Back Booth in Downtown Orlando, Florida at 37 W. Pine St. Oralndo, FL 32801.
