Gathering of Peaceful & Motivational Thoughts 1-4-08

>> Friday, January 4, 2008

This week I’m going to try to launch a new segment of our Rock for Hunger Blog. I’ll try it out for a while and see how it catches on. I’d like to call it “Gathering of Peaceful and Motivational Thoughts”. I want to hear some cool stories from YOU! Please comment with stories or quotes of peace, motivation, or anything else positive that is on your mind. If you don’t want to leave a comment, feel free to e-mail me at cgoyzueta@rockforhunger.org. I can post your story, or quote as an anonymous. I’m going to find a cool story each week, and post it on Friday morning, along with quotes of what other people have sent if they e-mailed me. Today I’m going to leave you with a couple of my favorite quotes. Yes, I do have a quote from Joel Osteen in there 8) I’m currently reading his first Book “Your Best Life Now.” It is a really good, and positive read. I highly recommend it. I got my favorite quote from Bono from U2 in there as well. Again, feel free to leave comments with thoughts, stories, or quotes of peace, motivation, or anything else that is on your mind. Here are my quotes for this week – Peace

“What you say in the midst of your difficulties will have a great impact on how long you stay in those situations”Joel Osteen

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
- Margaret Mead

“Imagination is Everything it is a Preview of Coming Attractions” – Albert Einstein

“Music can change the World, because Music can change People”Bono

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” - Chinese Proverbs
