14th Annual UCF Hunger Banquet

Kraesly Creek, one of our biggest supporters, held a great event at UCF tonight. It was the 14th Annual Hunger Banquet. She had a great list of guest speakers including our very own Chef T, Jackie Dowd (the lawyer who defended Eric from Food Not Bombs, Father Bob Hunt, and our 2007 Ambassador of the Year Pastor Brian Nichols. All the speakers were absolutely great. T’s life story was absolutely AMAZING! She has been through so much. It is so great to have this awesome person part of Rock for Hunger. Her awesome cooking helps us provide over 100 meals every week when we go to Downtown to feed the homeless. There were also many organizations at the event helping provide opportunities for students to get involved. These organizations included: Second Harvest Food Bank, Society of St. Andrew, Heifer International, and Rock for Hunger.

She topped it off with some great performances by Mark & James, and 2007 Rock for Hunger Band of the Year KG & the Band. We are all very proud of Kraesly for such a great Hunger Banquet! Come see yours truly be one of the guest speakers at the 2nd Annual Rollins College Hunger Banquet this Thursday.
